China will launch 6G network in 2025

One of the major Chinese operators has said that it will probably be able to use the prototype of the 6G communication network by 2025.

China is planning to introduce the first version of 6G communication network in the very near future.

China Unicom, the third largest operator in China, will be responsible for the technical research and initial rollout of 6G. The company expects the initial version of 6G to be activated in 2025 and the full version of this communication network to arrive in 2030.

Liu Lihong, Chairman of the Board of China Unicom, says that China currently has the largest Internet market in the world in terms of the number of users and the largest mobile market in the world, therefore the early use of 6G technology is important.

Despite all the sanctions, China has a very prominent role in the global communication equipment industry. A number of important global companies in this field are actively present in the Chinese market, and China also hosts several important domestic companies such as Huawei.

Chinese companies work closely with international institutions to set new industry standards. For example, China Mobile has published 31 general articles and 60 specialized articles focusing on 6G, and in this respect it has performed better than all other companies.
