The boat that Bill Gates rented but Ben Salman bought it!

According to reports, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has a personal fortune of $12.5 billion.

The Saudi crown prince, who claims to have little interest in controversial cars, owns a fleet of the finest luxury cars, including a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Bugatti, and several BMWs and Land Cruisers.
He owns two yachts designed solely for leisure. He bought the first one, Pigasus VIII, in 2008. The ship is equipped with a helicopter landing pad, a golf range, a cinema hall and a dance floor.

He bought a second yacht in 2015 for $458 million. This one has seven decks, two helipads, along with a saltwater pool. According to reports, one of the richest people in the world – Bill Gates – once rented it for a week for $9 million.

The first yacht built by Italian shipyard Fincantieri, the 134-meter Serene, was delivered to Russian billionaire Yuri Scheffler in 2011. As it was later revealed, he sold his yacht in July 2015 for $458 million to Mohammed bin Salman, the deputy crown prince of Saudi Arabia.

Equipped with a saltwater pool, large hot tub, oceanfront sauna and a fully operational helipad, this yacht is recognized as one of the most inspiring yachts in the yachting industry.

At the time of delivery, CERN was the ninth largest yacht in the world, narrowly edging out Qatar’s 133m Almirqab Almirqab and behind David Geffen’s 138m Laursen, Sunrise. However, for state-controlled Italian shipyard Fincantieri, Serene was the first yacht the company had ever built, initially focusing on commercial vessels.
The Saudi crown prince’s yacht, CERN, is drawn on an 18.5-meter beam, is six decks high, and has countless amenities that few five-star hotels have. One of her most striking features from the outside is her wonderful bathtub, located behind the sundeck.

The top deck Jacuzzi, one of seven pools on CERN, is surrounded by a sun deck. In front of the hot tub is a fully equipped bar under the yacht’s observation deck, which has another set of sun loungers.

Above the deck is another spa pool surrounded by lounging pads and located in front of the deck. A table for casual dining is also found on the shaded part of the sun deck.
Serene’s interior was designed by British design studio Raymond Langton, featuring a sophisticated combination of cream and dark colors with wooden fixtures. Offering views from every imaginable point, the SkyCern Lounge is equipped with sofas, chairs and coffee tables for coffee and tea.
A more formal venue designed to entertain larger groups, the main hall features whites with dark tones. There is a piano in the center of the room. Interestingly, this hall is located right above the main dining room and its chandelier hangs between the two spaces and allows music to be played.
