Deadly night in Ukraine with 1500 dead

According to Russian sources, the Ukrainian army lost at least 1,500 troops and 28 tanks in the southern part of Donetsk last night.

According to Sputnik, Ukraine lost 1,500 people and 28 tanks in the southern part of Donetsk. The news was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry, adding in a statement that Ukraine continued its offensive on June 5, concentrating the main efforts in the southern part of Donetsk.

It is said that in this operation, military units and armed forces of Ukraine suffered significant losses. The total casualties of Ukrainian soldiers in the southern part of Donetsk reached more than 1,500 Ukrainian military personnel and 28 tanks. Among the damaged Ukrainian tanks, German Leopard tanks, French AMX-10 tanks and 109 armored vehicles can be seen.

On the other hand, the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kiev, spent a heavy night and according to reports, strong explosions were heard in Kiev and the Ukrainian defense was trying to counter air targets.

At the same time, some Western sources seem disappointed with the continuation of arms aid to Ukraine, and yesterday “Colin Call”, the US Deputy Secretary of Defense, announced that the allocation of billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine has put pressure on the US military industry.

This stance takes place after Washington announced a new military aid package to Kiev worth 300 million dollars a few days ago. The US government has announced that the total amount of aid given to Ukraine during Joe Biden’s term as US President amounted to 38.3 billion dollars, of which 37.6 billion dollars have been given to Kyiv since the start of the Russian war in Ukraine.

Last month, the Wall Street Journal, quoting informed sources, confirmed that the Pentagon has increased the value of the weapons it sent to Ukraine by at least 3 billion dollars so that Ukraine can achieve the goals set in the territory of this country in the continuation of the war.

Since the beginning of the Russian war in late February 2022, Ukraine has received a wide and varied financial and military aid from Western countries, led by the United States and other European countries.

Western countries seek to hinder Russia’s military goals through financial, military and political support from Kiev, while Moscow has repeatedly confirmed that the operation in Donbass will not stop until all goals are achieved.

U.S. officials have previously said that the weapons and equipment provided will help Ukraine break a long-term stalemate over the fierce fighting in eastern Ukraine, particularly around the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast.

The authorities of the Russian government have warned many times about the flood of western weapons destined for Ukraine and have called these weapons the cause of the escalation and prolongation of the war. Among other things, last month, “Maria Zakharova”, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned against the continuation of the flow of arming Ukraine by the Western countries and announced that the Western countries will continue to send weapons to Ukraine so that the conflicts in this country become bloody and long-term.
